Description
3 blocks from the square! This 2-bed, 1.5-bath home is a short walk from dining, bars, and local shopping downtown Georgetown. Amazing outdoor activities surrounding...Lake Georgetown for a day of fishing, hiking, and water skiing, or walk to the Blue Hole along the San Gabriel River trail...steps away. You probably won't be home much, but when you are...there's a full kitchen, comfy couch, smart TV, fast wifi & desk for those who need to do a little work on vacation. Weekly/monthly discounts!!
The living room and dining room are spacious. Smart TV w/Roku (Netflix, DirectTV Stream, etc...). The kitchen table is great for working, eating, or games. The kitchen is on the small side, but efficient and has everything you need for a full cooked meal. The full bathroom serves both bedrooms. The first bedroom has a queen bed, closet, and two end tables. The back bedroom connects to a back room that has it's own 1/2 bath, dedicated workspace with a desk, and full-size washer and dryer. You can access the private fenced patio from this room, or the enclosed sunroom down the hall.
The patio is private, and like the shares a common wall with the unit next door. There's a large yard out the patio door as well that's shared with other guests, but other than that, everything else is completely separated. The driveway is reserved for guests in UNIT A, but there are steps leading from the street alongside the driveway for access to the patio.
We live a couple blocks away, and are downtown a lot for work/social/fun. If you run into any issues, just let us know and we will get it taken care of. We very much care about your experience and want to make sure your stay is great!
The neighborhood is an eclectic mix of old and new homes, nestled in a diverse part of downtown. Here, you can find commercial and residential areas all together in the same vicinity. The people here are very friendly; you often see neighbors talking to each other on their porches or out on a walk. There are trails nearby leading to the river, parks, and a variety of restaurants and coffee shops for everyone to explore downtown. It's a great place for residents to come together and make the most of living in such an exciting part of town!
There is plenty of street parking in front or on the side (corner lot), and you can load/unload and enter the property from the steps along the driveway leading to the patio/back door. We stay here sometimes when it's not booked, and generally walk or ride bikes everywhere we go.
We have had multiple guests bring kids, and we 100% welcome them! We have one pack & play available in the closet of the back bedroom. When it's not booked, my wife & daughters often stay and/or work from here and love it.View More

Nice place beats a hotel great location The house has everything for both short and long stay! The location is very close to the old town square, supermarkets, and restaurants. Airyn, the host is very nice and responsive. She handled every requests for me very well! If you are looking for a place to stay in this small, peaceful but attractive Georgetown, I recommend this house!
