Betty’s place is such a cool beach house with everything you could want for a beach getaway. Location, location, location.

This was the perfect weekend getaway. The beach felt totally private and was gorgeous. The house is very kid friendly - our toddler loved all the books. We would absolutely come back!

This place was perfect for the group of 8 we had. The walk to the beach was breathtaking and it was so close to all the things we wanted to do and see. Wish we could stay longer!

There is much to like about Betty’s place. Arch Cape is a fantastic beach, scenic and quiet, well located on the coast. The neighborhood is sweet and secluded. The house has an eccentric, arty charm. The hot tub, sauna, fireplace, and big screen TVs are nice amenities. But some things good to know: There are 5 level changes of 2 to 8 inches on the top floor that were challenging to our toddler and seniors. The upper bedrooms are tight. The stairs to the lower level are narrow, steep, and irregular. One downstairs “bedroom” is also the laundry and utility room and the ground floor passage to outdoors; the other is dark and cramped and has no door. The downstairs bathroom is awkward. So there is inequity in accommodations. And HWY 101 is 50 ft from the house. You don't see or feel it from the house, but the noise from trucks and other vehicles disturbed the sleep of 2 out of 6 adults. We enjoyed our stay. We just thought it was odd that these things were not mentioned in other reviews.

The house and weather was perfect. The home had every kitchen gadget you’d need. Loved the sauna and proximity to the beach. I think Arch Cape is an overlooked gem and hope it stays that way. They even had dog dishes and poop bags on hard. Kids beach toys, huge big screen tv’s. Everything was pristine clean and we can’t wait to go back.
