I slept well and relax in between wedding activities...I was close to shopping areas and walking trails, area seemed super safe. I originally meant to send only a message to the Host but ended up accidently booking it at 7 25PM. I called Airbnb within minutes and they told me if I reached out to the host they would be able to cancel with full refund (cancelation was one night reimbursed only). I wrote them precisely at 7 46PM about this and heard nothing until 8 28AM the next day when I was told they would have to see what they could do at this point? On our messages it showed well before then that the message was viewed but no answer. We did end up keeping the book due to the difficulty of getting ahold of someone (Host and Co-Host)<br/>We get to the home and there's a notice from the city that utilities were about to be disconnected. <br/>Also the home says the kitchen is fully stocked but only has two pans and S+P, not even oil. No hand towel in bathrooms, only the towels for stepping out the tub. Kitchen soap was watered down, Primary bathroom toilet seat was loose/broken, primary bathroom didn't even have soap. We stayed in this airbnb for two weeks. It is spacious, has a nice layout, and is in a peaceful location close to a park. Unfortunately, it was missing some basic amenities for a longer stay: hair dryer, cleaning supplies, broom, hand towels, microwave, washer/dryer. It also wasn’t very thoroughly cleaned (remaining trash, some dirty dishes) or super well-maintained (fridge handle was very loose, some of the plumbing drained slowly, small hole in one bedroom ceiling with musty smell). The yard also wasn’t well kept up, and debris from the trees covered the outdoor furniture. We were busy and didn’t communicate about these shortcomings until late in our stay. The owner responded that she would work on our feedback and would have been happy to bring over supplies had we asked during our stay. Overall the stay worked out fine for us, but it wasn’t up to the standard we expect based on the Airbnbs that we’ve stayed in.
